Nevada Medicaid is the long-term-care program name
Nevada Medicaid covers long-term services in both nursing facilities and community settings. The Nevada Health Authority describes nursing-facility service as a mandatory Medicaid benefit and says nursing facilities provide a range of care from intermediate services through skilled nursing; the federal Medicaid program likewise recognizes Medicaid as a payer of long-term services across institutional and community settings (Nevada Health Authority nursing-facility overview; CMS long-term services and supports overview).
The agency map matters. Nevada Health Authority materials collect the Medicaid manuals and program resources, DWSS accepts Medical Assistance for the Aged, Blind and Disabled applications through online, telephone, mail, fax, and in-person channels, and ADSD’s Office of Community Living works with Medicaid on the Frail Elderly and Physical Disabilities waivers (Nevada Health Authority manuals; DWSS MAABD application policy; ADSD Office of Community Living).
