The CMS-approved demonstration materials authorize the state to use waiting periods and priority rules should a waiting list develop, and EOHHS materials distinguish the Highest and High care categories. Ask the EOHHS coordinator which level of care has been approved, whether the request is managed care, fee-for-service, PACE, or self-direction, which services are authorized, and whether there is a current provider-capacity or enrollment issue.
