The institutional personal-needs allowance is $75 per month

Rhode Island’s active personal-needs-funds regulation says that, effective July 1, 2023, the enacted FY2024 budget raised the state supplemental personal-needs allowance for institutionalized individuals from $20 to $45. With the federal component, the total institutional personal-needs allowance rose from $50 to $75 per month.
